US – Californian Legislation AB 1953

Effective since January 1, 2010 California State Law requires that all faucets sold in CA must be replaced with «Lead-Free» compliant products. This legislation mandates the lead content of products to be a weighted average of less than 0.25% in pipes, fixtures, and fittings. It is illegal to sell products that dispense water for human consumption that do not meet AB1953.
